  Just waited over 10 minutes to have a drink order taken so we left. Restaurant had only four other tables so no excuse. Just before we left a table of four also walked out due to the lack of service. Not on the ball today Pig and Goose! Shame as we have enjoyed the food here in the past. You may notice a review has been posted from another diner who has stated we waited for less than five minutes...NOT the case. I am well aware of how long I waited for and it was probably closer to 15 minutes. I'm not in the habit of falsifying information to deliberately sabotage local business and my review is accurate. Fantastic the reviewer is so loyal to the Pig and Goose however if the reviewer is reading this - probably best to stay in your own lane with all due respect - it's worked for me in the past.

  Went with group had fish, chips salad and lemon lime tart for dessert food was top quality, service was exvellent and staff were very professional

  Delicious food with a varied menu. Table service was excellent - the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very busy today and our meals took quite some time to arrive. As we traveled 45 minutes each way, it made for a very extended "lunch break" during our work day. I would definitely visit again but probably on a weekend with no time constraints. Alternatively, I would try to pre-order for a set time.

  The food today was great as always and the service was attentive. I was surprised today when two tables left abruptly, after less than 5 minutes waiting, not 10... to be fair to the guys at pig and goose one table of 4 two tables of 2 and a table of 7 rolled in at the same time... patience peeps. If your in a hurry, just get off your bottom and politely ask the waiting staff if you can order... its a system that's worked for me in the past.
